Additional Information: During the period 2005-2007 there will be inprovements to aviation security and two infrastructure development projects at Kuressaare Airport. These projects received contributions from the European Regional Development Fund and include, among other works, enlarging the hanger building for aircraft maintenance (finished June 2006), widening the passenger terminal, lengthening the runway, improving the runway lighting system, meteorological equipmnet and navigation systems.
